Jeremy Adams Review of Arrow Fabricare Services

I sent them a vintage LL Bean leather jacket that I thrifted because it smelled foul and was faded in some places and stained in others. From some of the pictures I'd seen of cleaned and restored garments on their website plus others' reviews, I was convinced I would get back something almost as good as new. Instead, over $100 later, I get a jacket that is still faded and still smells foul, only now it stinks of chemicals instead of whatever the other smell was. If that was all I was going to get for my money, I would've spent it elsewhere. Buyer beware.
EDIT 04/18/2015: I was contacted by the President of the company regarding my dissatisfaction with the service and he asked me to send the jacket back for a re-go. I was very impressed with this level of dedication to customer service. I was able to return the jacket to Arrow at no additional cost and they re-cleaned the garment and even treated and dyed some faded areas to try to bring them back. The jacket looks much better than the first time and no longer stinks. There is some residual odor, but it is faint and I am sure will fade in a few days after being out of the bag and box. If you require traditional leather dry cleaning, then Arrow Fabricare should be on your list of companies to consider.
