Please whatever you do; do not send a family member to this place. We currently have a family member whom we are in the process of transferring to a different facility. On several occasions this person had been left in urine filled pants. When we asked why or to have him be changed, we are met with attitudes and resistance. It has gotten to the point where this family member feels threatened if we say anything to anyone. A nurse told us "I hope he dies sooner rather then later". A great thing to say to a family member who is on hospice. This facility is filled with incompetent rude employees. Even after we were told our family member was allowed pain medicine whenever they needed it. It was said by his nurse she wasn't giving him any but don't worry his roommate watches him. I would assume it would be an aide or nurse not other patients taking care of patients. Our family member's room is always dirty and were told housekeeping had an "attitude" when requested for it to be clean. I'm begging you to go ANYWHERE else besides this rehab. It is full of elderly and patient abuse and no matter who we talk too nothing will change.
