Okay, the gym itself is fairly nice. Good amenities and space to work out. However, there are two main reasons why I am giving this place one star...

First are the silly policies they try and enforce on new members. Want a swipe card so you can quickly walk into the gym? Oh, you need a 2 hour consultation with a fitness trainer before that can happen. Why you ask? Because basically they want you to spend more money should you decide to hire that trainer. We never wanted the consultation and were rudely told told by even the trainer herself she wouldn't let us have a swipe key without her consultation. This is despite the fact that we informed her we are extremely busy working parents who don't have 2 hours to casually spare. What a slap in the face after plunking down a couple hundred bucks.

Next is the cancellation policy. We ended up moving out of the area due to a job relocation and had about 4 months to go on our membership. We cancelled March 3 and were then told that our last day would be April 30, plus an extra $125 early termination fee. Ouch...I understand we signed a contract, but you would think they could show some good faith. What a joke. I hope anyone reading this reconsiders their decision to join this place.
