Gray Anderson Review of Mango Fondue & Lounge
When we entered the restaurant, it was still summe...
When we entered the restaurant, it was still summer. By the time we left, it was winter.
I cannot stress enough how horrible the service here was. There was only one waiter, and they took forever bringing us our food and drinks. For example, my mother asked for a water and did not receive until almost a half hour later (we had asked repeatedly every time the waiter came by).
That wasn't even the worst part. As part of the cheese and chocolate fondue, you are promised a variety of fruits. We received NO fruit with our cheese fondue, and were told that they had "run out," even though the waiter had told us all about the fruit when we ordered.
We were then told they have the fruit for the chocolate fondue and that they would set it aside for us. My family and I spent an eternity WAITING for the fondue, and when it finally came it wasn't even slightly heated. What took so long? Not only this, but there was hardly ANY fruit served with it. There was ONE raspberry, ONE blackberry, and ONE teeny tiny sliver of banana. This is absolutely an extremely poor part on the chef's behalf.
We spent over three hours at the restaurant, only a small fraction of which were spent eating. The service was completely unacceptable. When we were finally able to leave, we got a gift card for a small amount as an apology for the horrific experience. Honestly, they should've covered the entire meal, or given us cash instead because we have to go back there in order to use the card.
