Second week in a row, at Wheatley, there was chaos at the checkouts. When will the penny drop that customers want service not self service checkouts. Use your common sense and see how many people don't want to use them. Service at Wheatley used to be second to none and now it is at the other end of the scale. You've had 2 strikes and it is 3 strikes and you're out. Plenty of alternatives in Thame where the Co-op have had the sense to remove self service tills. Don't come out with the usual nonsense that customers want them. THEY DON'T Think about what is best for customers not your convenience I suggest if enough people abandon their trollies, if the queues are too long, someone with an ounce of common sense may have a rethink
