Annie Roller Review of AE, AEG-Home Depot Center/STAP...

My favorite thing about the Staples Center, other than my beloved athletes that compete there, is the parking, safety, and logistics crew that governs the area on event nights. Traffic in L.A. is no joking matter, and you always have to plan for the unexpected when you are traveling and attending an event there. But once you arrive, parking is so well organized that you can zip in and out of the surrounding lots and garages with relative ease. To save a few dollars, I always park a few blocks away in economy lot parking because I am able to still walk and like the exercise, which can lower the parking bill from 20 dollars down to 10 bucks. The guards on the sidewalks and at the doors mean serious business but are very approachable if have a question about which way to go. The ticketing system is so modern with apps now that you don't need to worry if you lose your paper tickets. A cell phone with your ticket app or even just your driver's license being scanned in at the front gate and can gain you access to your favorite events. I am a Kings fan because I love how they treat their fans, and the inclusive language that they use in the promos and marketing. "We are all kings"...etc. I would like to score some Lakers/Clippers tickets at some point and see the arena decked out for basketball, and also for a stage performance like a concert or some comedy. The weather around the Staples Center is friendly enough that now and again you can see some famous people sneaking in to catch a game. Last year Ashton and Mila were in the stands at a Kings game I was attending, donning sports regalia and making a debut on the kiss cam. Certainly, there have been thousands of other sightings. For whichever team or act you come down to support, you will most definitely have a fun time and the logistics and parking staff and the rest of the hospitality crew are a huge part of that. The Staples Center is a world class facility and a Los Angeles gem shining bright.
