Be careful about your hand luggage when you came from domestic airports of Saudi Arabia to connecting International flight. Normally domestic Saudi airport don't check your hand carry weight or size when your departure. So even they allowed you, you will stuck on Riyadh airport as they check the size and weight of hand carry and if its size or weight exceed they don't allowed you to departure lounge. And ask you to just go to airline counter and give your carry on bag as a checked in baggage where they charge you huge money. In my case one of the domestic airport allowed me a bit oversize hand carry bag. But when I reached the Riyadh airport the guy before the security told me your bag is large and just give it to Saudia check in counter where he ask me it cost 618 SAR. I told them that why you allowed this hand carry from your domestic airport at first place but they don't listen. And that bag and items are not even wort the 618 SAR. So finally after no choice left I left this bag on trash can on the airport and proceed with without that hand carry. So
be careful. Also don't bring plastic shopping bag as hand carry because they also don't allowed them as hand carry on International fight. You have to either to buy a cheap quality hand carry from airport or left your bag at trash can.
