We've frequented MBS for a very, very long time. Since they moved to their current location almost 18 years ago we thought they would really update the antiquated system of how they run their business. I really like to shop there for our fixer-upper, but it is tiring to have to have every ounce of info off their shelf tags because their cashiers and cash register system is not up to par with modern times. We just went in today (8/12/2018) and got some things. Forgot to look at the price and info on the shelf tag and when we got up to the cash register the cashier was so confused and had to ask a fellow employee what something was called, there were barcodes on the stakes that we got, but they wouldn't register with the scanner (probably because they were curved), she finally punched in the numbers on the barcode and it went in. We weren't in a hurry, that is not why I'm complaining, I'm complaining because we're nearing 20 years of MBS updating their building and system and they're still not "up with the times".
