My husband & I had a horrible experience coming to marriage counseling for the first time after experiencing a series of traumas. I am a therapist myself, & this therapist lacked any insight ability to facilitate deeper processing. Instead she would argue or attack us and demand vulnerability. We have moved on and have thankfully found a brilliant therapist to help us heal.
