My service went out during a wind storm in March and is still hit and miss three months later. Customer service is difficult to reach and when I do I can't get them to come out and fix the problem.

Update: Star Communications finally came out to fix my Internet. Now after a hefty service charge to basically accomplish nothing, the Internet is only useful to run my VOIP phone. They even admit to many outages during the month, but never offer to give a credit for service when their system is down for weeks at a time.

Good luck getting ahold of their "Customer No Service" during week days only.
At one time they offered 25 mbs speed, but now refuse to offer this, because their weak system cannot handle the load. They told me on the phone that they had more people sign up for service than their system could handle. So instead of turning away paying customers, they make us all suffer equally with slow service. I'm paying for 8 mbs and getting 1 mbs.
