This week I saw in Haifa the play "Our Class". I saw this show at its premiere at the London National Theater in September 2009. This is of course a very difficult show. It was performed at a very high level in both cases.
However, I was very disturbed that the translation of the play into Hebrew was included in the text of the Yom Kippur War. I don't know if it was worth doing. In my opinion, the translator must be true to the source content. What would you say if someone included Macbeth's reference to political personality or the wife of an Israeli political personality.
