***Summer review*** To start off, you now have to pay to just use the trails. Didn t want lift access, bike up bike down and you have to pay. Second the staff is very uneducated on the trails. I called their number located on their website and ended up getting the operator. She couldn t inform me if the trails were open or not and couldn t tell me what the weather was like. I was concerned because from where I was in the valley, it looked like it was pouring up there but thought I d call just to see. Once I got up there the parking attendant didn t even know you could ride these trails without using the lift. I rode up to the top and felt lost, only person I found were two zip line attendants napping on the landing. They suggested a way for me to go get to Rays summit (I was where rays lift drops off in the back mountain), which ended up being way too step and loose rock to ride and took me to hiking only trails which weren t designed to be ridden on. Lastly, the signage. Down toward the bottom everything is marked wonderful and clearly. But the further up you get, the less clearly marked all the roads and trails are marked. And the map on their website SUCKS. I ended up using google maps more to figure out where I was and where I was going or wanted to go. I gave it two stars because I ll be back. It s a great place to ride whether your using the lift or riding up. My review rating is so low because you re basically on your own and having to pay to not use their equipment when it comes to riding Sundance in the summer time.
