I was a patient in the memorable beggings labor and delivery unit. Where I gave birth to my third son. My labor was very fast and furious lol. But they were ready and compassionate. I didn't want to tell the staff, that I am a nurse for 19 years because I wanted to be treated like a patient, and I was blown away with the level of patient education and professionalism. The support and resources for patients is excellent. Coming from a background in patient education myself, I was truly impressed. The lactation nurse was excellent in her support and explaining how to get the best experience out of breastfeed and all the nurses were exceptional they actually assessed and kept track of everything. Hand hygiene here is excellent as well. The housekeeping staff was very sweet and kept our room very clean, she even offered us ice water or coffee. The kitchen services were excellent as well they also had a very beautiful and thoughtful celebration dinner available for us that was wonderful. All of our food arrived hot. We really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend delivery here, not only as a patient but also as a Registered Nurse.
