I have crawlspace encapsulation scheduled with THB...

I have crawlspace encapsulation scheduled with THBS in about a month, and I'll add another review after the work is done. Meanwhile I am giving 5 stars to their employee Daniel Messer, who has come and given me estimates for the crawlspace and also for garage foundation repairs. Daniel has gone above and beyond all expectations, answering my endless questions via email at all times of the day and night, patiently explaining, researching and giving alternatives.
If the actual work is anywhere near as good as the service Daniel has given, the 5 star rating will be repeated for the work itself. Daniel is an awesome employee.

********EDIT.....ELEVEN MONTHS LATER:
It will be a year in March 2020 since I had my crawlspace encapsulation done. A few months after the original work, I found an issue where some ground water was getting in due to a small error in one spot. After trying to contact Daniel, my original field inspector, and discovering he had left for a different job, I put in a warranty service call. I wasn't happy with the response from the service person who came to check it, and complained to the company.
THBS immediately had their service manager, Ronnie Whittaker, contact me and come look at the issue. He worked with me to develop a plan to fix the issue and the possible cause behind it, and sent a crew to re-do the section where the problem occurred. This was done under warranty at no cost to me.
After watching the area for a number of months, it appears the issue is fixed and all is well. My 5-Star Rating stands, and I can't say enough good things about Ronnie, he was awesome.

As for the benefits of encapsulation, let me say that I am impressed. There was concern that the dehumidifier they installed in the crawlspace might raise my power bill, but it turned out the opposite! My summer power bills are a little lower now, thanks to the fact that the air in the crawlspace is much drier, so air that naturally rises through spaces into the living area from there, is no longer humid. My home interior is also more comfortable as a result, and I don't have my air conditioner running as long on hot humid days as it used to prior to this work. My heat pump used to struggle keeping the humidity in the house below 55%, often having to run to lower than set temperatures in order to lower the humidity. This past summer, the humidity always stayed at or below 55% in the house without the AC running longer then needed to reach the temp set point. This is an added win I did not anticipate.
