My father was here for short term rehabilitation, he needed PT/OT/ST. If I had to rate this place just on the therapist they would get 4/5 . Sadly therapy was only part of his day. The other staff there did not care for him, at all. He has Parkinson's. 3 separate occasions (possible more) his medication was given out of the hour before/hour after window. 2 of those 3 times he only ever got the medication because I could tell he did not get his morning dose & went and asked the nurse if he had it yet. The other time the nurse randomly stopped me in the hall, and ASKED me if he got it. Turned out he hadn't. They gave him food we told them he was allergic to. The doctor we saw was rude & had no actual concern for him. Often no one was able to tell me who his nurse even was. At one point my mother, father and brother ALONG with other patience staying there, were LOCKED OUTSIDE where the gazebo is. My mother had to call the front desk to let them in AND THEY STILL DIDN'T. Finally, eventually, another patient in a wheelchair let them in. They are NOT clear in communication there. They made it feel like my father HAD to stay there as a prisoner. He had a random bruise that no one could tell us how it happened. And every person we asked would say "I've never seen that". He received a PPD test as protocol, we explained that he will have an adverse side effect due to his exposure to tuberculosis during his time in the army. That means he should not have this test again. They agreed. Than called my mom 2 nights later to tell her they gave him another TEST and want to take him for X Ray's because he his arm had a reaction!! The discharge woman was rude and spoke down to my mom. These are just the highlights I could go on. If you can send your loved one elsewhere, I would.
