Wife and I have been members since April 2015. After covid my wife refused to return. We went to cancel my wife's membership only and spoke with Cathy . I do not have words to describe our conversation. She charged my wife on June 3rd for May. Then charged her one month to cancel plus the 41.75 equipment fee that is due FROM July 19 2020 till next July 2021. Her reasoning was our billing is on the 20th of the month she had to pay a last month which brings her to July 20th therefore she must pay NEXT YEARS equipment fee. My wife paid it just to end it. When I got home i pulled up our agreement from 2015. When we signed up we PAID THE LAST month up front. Went back to Cathy to show her the agreement. Her response was " my wife's membership that she cancelled will now be good till August." Tim...this is no way to treat customers. The last month was paid up front ,my wife should have been charged 25.00 and that is it. She hasn't been in the club since the end of Feb. Cathy accused me of not understanding how a business works. Owing my own business for 30 years Tim I can tell you I have never treated a customer the way in-which my wife was treated. btw...the agreement we signed has no mention of 30 day cancellation. Very disappointing Tim we thought better of you.
