Got back here in April of 2017 and they were open!...

Got back here in April of 2017 and they were open! This is a can't miss for any Girl Scout in town to see the birthplace of Girl Scouts. There is a really small store that carries all those items that always get lost or fall off of uniforms and a few extras. Beyond the store space is the original meeting room, with the exception of the history on the walls, it is a typical garage that Girl Scouts would meet in back 100 years ago, or last week. I will mention that a block up is what appears to be the first bar that a Girl Scout dad went to have a drink at while waiting for his daughter to get out of a Girl Scout Meeting, that place looked friendly as well but I didn't go in.

They were closed on 11/5/2016 a day they were supposed to be open, at least they had a sign out unlike the birth house.
