My father brought my mother to the ER on October 5...

My father brought my mother to the ER on October 5th 2018. Needless to say it took almost six hours for my mother to be admitted and given a bed. She constantly complained about her leg bothering her which the ER staff responded we have to coordinate with the doctor upstairs which they never did. Finally after she was admitted they did the tested needed which discovered some serious problems however it was too late. She fought valiantly up until things took a turn on the 7th only to succumb to complications on the 8th. Too add insult to injury ICU internist basically said we are giving up and it's basically a wait and see aspect at this point and most people don't recover from these sorts of things. So instead of giving some glimmer of hope they give up. I will applaud the nurse who took care of her when she was in a regular room because he did all that he could to ensure she was provided the care that she needed and he took it really hard when he found out that she didn't make it. It speaks volumes of his devotion to his work.
