I would have given it 5 stars as have been there before.but this time met up with a friend that had a dog with her and her husband.i did book in advance and mentioned there would be a dog .no problem I was told.so on arrival we was seated in area reserved as dog friendly. Sat waiting to be served.when I finally attracted the waitress attention was told as we were in the bar area we had to order at the bar.not a problem. Went to order toad in the hole not on the menu.so I asked why they had stopped having "toad in the hole". To be told oh its still on the menu but not in here in the bar area.!!!!! But you can have bangers and mash.really found that most odd.was let down badly today as I had praised their
" Toad in th hole" so much we was all left very disappointed just because we had a dog with us.and couldn't sit in the restaurant
