I've been here many many many times. I work night shift and am always up late and this place is open latest in the area.

There's some things that are nice about it, there's late night dancing for all types of music and people. There's cumbia on Sunday nights and three levels of different types of music such as EDM or rap.

The problem with this place besides that it is expensive to get in is that usually you will watch the "bouncers" blatantly disrespect people and on many occasions you will see them be violent.

I don't write that lightly but if you are thinking of going to this venue for an event like a 21st birthday or bachelorette party i think that you should consider that it's very possible you will get grabbed by one of the staff members and unallowed to get your jacket or things before you leave.

The other night I stopped by here with some of my friends and paid to dance to some cumbia. I don't really drink much to be honest with you. On the way out I was listening to a staff member tell someone that they were not allowed to get their jacket before exiting.

Since it is very cold in Philadelphia and my keys are in my jacket I turned around to go grab my jacket before leaving. This is when a staff member grabbed my shoulder and dragged me toward him. I yelled because I got scared and he hurt me. I watched him back away from me after that and tell me that I needed to leave. At this point he told me that the manager would meet me outside.

Outside, (in the cold/jacketless) the manager comes to talk to me and my very upset friends and tries to reassure me that he will find my jacket. I'm very shaken and upset at the unnecessary violence and tell the manager that it is not just the jacket, that there was no reason to grab a girl for no reason.

The staff starts telling the manager that I "fell" and that's why he grabbed me. I didn't fall. If they had any security cameras around the entrance they would see that there was no loss of balance or anything.

After the many times I've gone here, I've often seen people treated with no respect but I never thought I would be personally involved as I've never been a violent or loud person.

My advice is that if you go here, you should be careful as you aren't really seen as a customer here. Ive seen it so many times. Be careful and don't think that it couldn't happen to you or your friend or boyfriend who never gets confrontational because it's definitely possible your night could go this direction.
