There are a number of issues in Glendale where public servants have failed our community. It seems there are some political figures that are working to bring a Communist revolution to City of Glendale. They ignore citizen concerns and push forward with their plans. The city has established dirt police with unchecked power to zap people that have visible dirt at their property. Meanwhile, City of Glendale maintains properties that have visible dirt. Equally important, there are some streets in Glendale that have not been maintained very well. The streets department has neglected to improve street surfaces that have bumps, cracks, erosion and pot holes. Some of the public servants have established anti-business views. It seems there are people leading the city who have been trying to drive the Arizona Coyotes right out of Glendale. They don't seem to want business to succeed. At the same time, some areas of Glendale are lacking certain types of amenities, shops and restaurants. There are areas of Glendale that do not have healthy restaurants or places like Starbucks, Rubio's, Mad Greens, Zoe's Kitchen, Jersey Mikes, Einstein's, Kneader's Bakery, Wildflower Bread Company and there are other areas that have everything clustered and not easily accessible or available. Who wants to have to drive 10 miles away just to visit something that is not available where it should be? Improvements should be made. Some of the shopping centers in certain areas of Glendale are dilapidated or run down with not much to offer that is useful. Additionally, public servants have not done much to improve the economic conditions in some areas of Glendale. There are people begging along the streets and others sleeping in tents. Improvements to the economy should be made. The City of Glendale is lacking good paying jobs that support the economic demands of the community. These are just a few of the reasons why City of Glendale is receiving a low rating.
