This is my favorite museum in Seattle, is at the top of my recommendations list, and my husband and I are members. While I don't visit every time someone from out of town visits, I do suggest they come. MoPop has an extensive permanent collection of science fiction, fantasy and horror artifacts, as well as important artifacts related to music particularly music important to the Pacific Northwest.

In addition to the permanent exhibits, the rotating special exhibits are world class. From World of Wearables to the Supremes costumes to a multi-floor Marvel exhibit, MoPop knows how to throw a special exhibit. There are also consistently stunning music-related photograph exhibits too. Definitely visit this place!
