This company offered us the worst service ever and...

This company offered us the worst service ever and that was before we had even picked up the car. A diesel automatic was ordered through the insurance company. It was supposed to be ready between 12 and 4pm. When we went to pick up the car it was a petrol manual model. Not really acceptable but what was worse the tyre had a chunk missing from the side wall. As we need to travel over 100 miles a day on the motorway this was not acceptable. When we then contacted the insurance company they contacted Enterprise in Harrogate who told her that there was nothing wrong with the tyre. We offered to go take a photo of the tyre. You can imagine our amazement when we got there to find that the vehicle had been hired out. I hope that nothing happens to this customer driving a car with a damaged tyre is not safe. We are still waiting for a vehicle but we are guessing it won t be today.
I suggest you get in writing what you are being offered and check the vehicle really carefully as the staff obviously don t care if their customers are safe or not.
