On our first night at the hotel, the bathroom ceiling started leaking dangerously. The water soaked the room s carpet, bent the ceiling and damaged our property.
The staff assigned us to a new room of the same layout, but further from the ocean and advised us to speak with the hotel manager to make this right - she gave us a phone number to reach her at.
We tried multiples times to reach her, yet we weren t getting any answers. The staff would tell us that she is really busy and could not make calls to Canadian numbers, so the only option was for us to wait for a call back in our room. We cancelled our plan to stay closer to the hotel and check on this situation regularly.
On the morning of our last day, the bill of the express check out was slipped under our door with no deductions whatsoever. I had them to go to the lobby and tell the staff that I would wait in the waiting area until I speak with the manager.
She ended up giving us a discount, which I believe was not nearly enough for the trouble we experienced.

I had stayed at the Nantasket Resort year s ago, but it wasn t at all the same hotel - the rooms are not clean and there is a lingering smell of marijuana in the hallways (especially on the 3rd floor).
We will never again stay at this hotel.
