Highly recommend UP surf coaching. Andrew and Rod were both encouraging and relaxed instructors. We took a group course and benefitted from the overall instruction and from personal feedback. Everyone in the group got one on one teaching and both instructors were focussed on giving one piece of feedback at a time so I was never overwhelmed with too much to think about. Really solid teaching, safety and good equipment. Best of all, our surfing progressed past the mere beginner stage, after 10 years of off and on surf lessons, I finally feel like I could venture out on my own with some success! Take at least a 3 day course with these guys, 5 days would be even better!
