Any potential renters reading this, believe the bad reviews. Peak is quite possibly the most unresponsive property management company I ve ever dealt with. My building had so many issues, building managers changed multiple times in the one year I lived in their buildings so tickets would fall between the cracks. Serious safety issues like collapsed stair treads never were addressed. There were holes in the landing that never got patched. Windows were shot so they didn t stay insulated and had condensation on them year around. We had to keep the heat at 75 just to maintain the apartment temperature at 69 degrees. The biggest issue was this building was supposedly dog-friendly, but after the back gate collapsed management did nothing about it. Dog owners that were paying monthly dog fees on top of their rent were left to prop plywood to keep it somewhat enclosed. The back gate was essentially open to the back alley so anyone could walk in the common yard and pluck anything from your patio or larger packages left outside. After a year here they had the nerve to raise rent $30/month. We weren t planning on moving for a couple of years, but we couldn t stay in this unkept trash heap any longer. Avoid anything managed by Peak.
