A very nice property in the heart of Madurai has a very reasonable price ... with obviously the small inconveniences of a city that moves a lot and that "honks" a lot! Rest assured it calms around 23h and in principle the night goes smoothly even if sometimes a few excited can not help playing with the horn to wake up .. We occupied a nice room (a suite) with room annex for our daughter and a large bathroom with bath. Small fridge but not very fresh. Toiletries in abundance and toilet paper provided while originally in France we were told that the hotels did not provide. Cleanliness very acceptable even if some details left something to be desired (dirty fridge for example). Very friendly welcome with fresh fruit juice. The staff is very caring for luggage (normal tourist tips depend on it!) Wifi, TV, adjustable air conditioning and not too noisy, everything is at the comfort level ... Finally, note that the restaurant located on the roof from the hotel offers a panoramic view of the city in effervescence but especially that the local food that is served there is delicious and very varied (vegetarian or not) You are in the city to go out shopping and the big temple of Madurai is 2 steps ... we loved our stay at this hotel.
