You cant be in Athens without visiting the Acropolis. Start from the street level, by looking at the imposing structure of the Acropolis. Then it s a steep hill, to reach the entrance, but at the end it is well rewarding. You have the remains of two temples and a small museum, apart from a great view of the city of Athens. There really isn't a whole lot more to be said about how stunning it is than what's already been said a thousand times over (and well deserved things I might add!). I would say though if you can deffinitely get there early, it will be well worth your time. Awe!
