This review is for the business practices.

The menu makes an attempt at disclosing a 15% service charge, and that most of it is shared with staff. Alright, that s cool, weeds out bad tippers.

I couldn t get a reservation today, as they were booked all evening. No problem. I got takeout. And yet, I was charged the 15% service charge. Not to be overly semantic, but then THAT amount is taxed (astute readers will know that ACTUAL services are not subject to sales tax).

If I m not eating in, there s no service being provided. Period. If you think you need to raise prices, that s fine. But don t tell me that it s a service charge (for what, again?) and then when I don t get the service (in that I m not eating there), perhaps maybe not charging for a thing I didn t get would be the way to go.
