This is an edited review. The 2nd part of this review was reviewing how hard it was getting them on the phone. I made this edit the 1st part of the review since it is more relevant. In the month of July 2018. I had an a/c leak. Since you cant reach anyone on the phone much of the time I went on my computer and paid an extra 75.00 for 24 hour service. Service is from 8am to 6 pm. I made an afternoon appointment. at 5:45 the a/c man called and said he cant make it until 9pm. I was upset but I said ok. then at 9:30 pm he said he cant make until between 10-11. At that point I canceled. It was unreasonable. It took 2 days to get a person on the phone and I asked for the 75.00 convenience fee (Ha Ha convenience} to be taken off. Appointment was set again. Then that a/c guy called at 7Pm (was supposed to be there by 6pm the latest and said he can make it by 9pm. At that point I canceled for again the unreasonable treatment. Not only didn't I get a refund for the 125.00 service fee I paid in advance on the credit card but the double billed me another 125.00 for a service call that never happened. I called my credit card company to remove the charges and asked them to remove the 306.00 for the yearly contract that wasn't abided by. I gladly paid 225.00 for a/c service by an a/c company that did an excellent job. Please don't use this company. They had the nerve to send me a contract extension that was 100.00 more than last year. They are grossly understaffed and overworked and you wont be happy with them.

I had service America years ago and they were very good. Now everything is done on line. If you need to schedule an appointment you need to do it online. If you try to call them or you have an issue they are almost impossible to reach nobody will pick up the phone. I tried leaving a message as they offered for call back and they called me back whenever I can't answer the phone hours later. After being on hold for an hour several times I decided that I will not do my renewal in 2 months. I would much rather be able to reach somebody and pay for the repair as it happens then to go through that stress. Especially if it's your air conditioner you should stay away from this company if you ever have an issue or a problem you'll never be able to reach them. Just to update this post, I finally reached someone who told me the reason scheduling by computer was they were understaffed. They try to save money by having a skeleton crew and a computer system.
