This is NOT your father's Sears, and what a shame.
We purchased a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator
5 year Warranty
Delivery date: 9/16/13
Service Date: 10/26/18
Diagnosis: Irreparable
Out of warranty: one month
Technician suggestion: Call Customer Care (get a USA employee - "Philippine customer Care is horrible), and seek concessions.
Talked with four separate employees. No concessions offered.
They are in bankruptcy for a reason.
IMHO: They've milked every last nickle out of the Sears brand.
