I've always appreciated that the Walker doesn't take itself too seriously, which is a major problem with most galleries and museums. That isn't to say there isn't some pretty thought-provoking material here, just that it's more varied than you typically find.

Free Thursdays are the best way to see all the galleries, plus you get to be in there at night, which makes it more interesting and feel less stuffy.

The crowd here skews very young compared to places like Mia, especially if you're here on a Thursday night. All in all it's pretty fun.
