Having had a sufficiently bad experience with one agency, which led me to knock the idea of supply on the head, I fortunately stumbled across QT Education. I spoke to Jon, who interviewed me almost immediately, and as soon as the paper-work (CRB & so forth) was completed, the work came flooding in. Jon and his team are incredibly professional, very empathetic/sympathetic to one s individual requirements and restrictions. They will tailor the work to your needs. If I want to work 3 days, I get 3 days. If I want 5 days (which I do mostly), I get 5 days. Bar the first week or two in September, there are very few days in the year that I am not working when I am available. I have also been offered lots of long-term & contractual work through QT. If you get sent to a school new to QT, they will value your opinion about what it s like to do supply at that school. This means that they have decent schools on their books. They are also very pleasant and trustworthy people. I am now well into my 7th year with QT, and have not even vaguely thought of going with another agency. Furthermore, when I speak to other teachers who are with QT, and staff at the schools themselves, they are also equally positive. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.
