I'm hoping my experience was singular in its ability to disappoint. The room was not as requested, and couldn't be made so. The reserved table for the restaurant was not as desired either. Both of these are frustrating as The reservations had been made The service at the restaurant was slow and unenthusiastic, and apparently the cooking/mixology staff was the same, as the main dish and drinks were both incredibly disappointing. The swordfish was completely over cooked, and the specialty drinks were heavy handed. I submitted a review to their customer service about a week ago and still have not gotten a response. From my experience, there are far better places to go in Miami for the price or less, or that will have food and service worth the price being commanded by the Kimpton.
