For a local government, Watford council has the most crappiest website in the entire UK.

I wanted to renew my resident parking permit, so I uploaded my vehicle documents online and made the payment, I then received an instant confirmation stating 'application is successful' and permit is effective from chosen date. I thought everything is good. But,

After two weeks I received an email saying 'The application will be cancelled in three days if you don't upload appreciate documents'

Why? Guess what, when you upload the documents online, they're not validated realtime, wise guys in the council sit and go through applications one at a time and choose to reject as they wish after number of weeks.

What's the sophisticated validation process?
They compare your online account to your actual documents

(this is the funniest validation process I've ever heard, Is this the GDPR? to reject genuine documents and bully customers on web account?)

If you are 'Tom Sawyer', if you use an alias name such as 'Tom100' to create the account on council website to purchase the parking tickets, that's it you had it.

It doesn't matter what documents you upload, for them your web account name is most important, they're obsessed about web account, all about web account, not your car documents.

It doesn't matter how much you try to convince, they will have one million answers for you.

Although my application is for a renewal not the first time or the second. It's the third renewal, they have all my details and the car's details, still they rejected my application, for them it didn't matter how much I tried to convince, they kept picking on the my web account name.

Previous years I managed to purchase using the same account. But why pick on my account now?

Watford council parking department is the most horrible, horrible department.
