I am disabled and have recently had a health decline. An agent called me today and I advised him of my life threating illness that had been recently diagnosed and told him I could update him on Friday in regards to when I can make a payment. He kept on harassing me and tried to make me make payment promises I could not keep. I felt harassed (all he had to do was wait 3 days) and he would not stop. THIS IS AN UNACCEPTABLE WAY TO TREAT A DISABLED PERSON. THIS IS NOT HOW AN IVA SHOULD OPERATE.

Thanks for the reply. I can only update in real time. My recent diagnoses means things are much more harder to do than before. Either way I don’t deserve harassment especially when my situation is related to my disability. I gave the operative an answer to the question and that should have been accepted especially under the circumstances. I feel that my disability has not been taken into consideration. Section 3 of IVA Protocol 2021 affords vulnerable people protection.
