My daughter was admitted to this hospital 3x since last year. Nurses at Standford hospital were excellent but doctors (GI) were uncompassionate, unfriendly, arrogant, judegemental and and rude. They totally ignored my daughter's pain and complaints of GI problems. Because of history of eating disorder, they judged her condition as "controlling anorexic" and blamed her for illness especially by one of nurse practioners. Doctors at John Muir hospital in Conconrd did not judged her with this history but cared for her current illness. It is very disasapointg to be referred to hospital like Stanford which is known for its modern technology of medical care. If they cannot find what's wrong with my daughter , they should admit that they cannot find her treatment and refer her to Mayo Clinic like John Muir doctors did. It's a shame, shame.
