Mother's Day Weekend, May 12th & 13th, 2017 we stayed at the Best Western Motel in Sunnyside, Washington. We were visiting Eastern Washington for the very first time to visit friends and family.
We knew this motel was fully booked because of a High School Basketball tournament in town, so we expected a little extra noise. we were not expecting the NIGHTMARE we got!
On Friday the 12th, we checked into our room and relaxed before meeting friends and family for dinner. After a wonderful evening we finally got back to the motel around 10:30pm. Upon entering the hotel we noticed a large group gathered in the lobby / breakfast area, so we figured they just got back from the tournament. Since our room was close to the lobby we could hear the group through our walls but since we were tired we were able to sleep for a while. Around 12:30am, we were woke by the group and kids running up and down the halls. At 1:00am I finally called the front desk to complain and they said they would quiet them down. The noise continued and I tired to ignore it but it was so loud we could not get back to sleep. At 2:00am being totally fed up and frustrated I called the front desk about 15 minutes later the group finally went to their rooms and we were able to sleep until around 7:00am
On Saturday, we had a full day of winery tours, barbecue and enjoying good friends and family. After a long day we arrived back at the hotel around 11:00pm and were looking forward to getting some sleep. Again this group was congregated in the same lobby area but now their kids were running up and down the halls. We put up with this noise for about an hour before starting to complain at 12 midnight. The clerk was not successful getting the group to quite down, so the noise continued! At 1:30am , I called the front desk and threatened to call the police, finally we got some peace and quite.
I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN, WHAT A NIGHTMARE~
