We were very excited to stay here! The rooms looked brightly colored and the water park looked fun from the pictures. We arrived at about 6:30 in the morning and they were able to get us checked into our room right away. Due to the unseasonably cool weather, the water park was closed our first 3 days. The regular pool was heated and opened daily. When the water park did open, it was operated in sections one hour at a time. The hotel offers shuttle service to Universal Studios. We found this to be extremely convenient. There are several morning shuttles to the park and even more returning to the hotel in the evening. Staff and shuttle employees were all fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. The reason I gave only 3 stars is because the room had cockroaches! Since we didn't have money to book a different hotel we sucked it up.
