Despite Furniture at Work agreeing a refund, they have failed to send any money as I paid for express 7 day delivery on 23 July and they didn t deliver within the time, or contact me to say there was a delay until after the delivery date had passed. The first time I called they did not record the conversation on my notes, hence the first delay in the refund. The second conversation was with Patricia, who sent an email confirming I would get a refund within 10 days, that was on 20 August 2020. I sent an email to Patricia on 3 September, but had no response. I called on 7 October to chase this up, kept waiting on the phone for more than 30 minutes to be told that they hadn t calculated it and didn t know the reason for the delay, but the refund was being processed. I heard back on 8 October saying that the manager hasn t confirmed the refund. On Friday, I was promised a call from a manager called Colin, who called me while I was waiting to be transferred to him. I called back, but Colin wasn't available either on Friday and has not called back today, Monday 12 October despite a reminder this morning. The refund is still not in my account and therefore I feel I have no choice to post this review as I do not want other companies to be subject to this poor customer service.
