The sign on the door says they'll still do business in cash if you need too. What they don't tell you is they want you to donate your change to the charity of THEIR choice. When you indicate you just want your change they say they have to give it to you on a gift card.
Who, precisely, is looking for a $0.23 gift card?
When you ask (nicely) to discuss this with their management, well lo and behold that drawer comes open and out come the coins.
Don't do business with them if you can avoid it. Shop locally.
