I am not happy. My VW needs a headlight assembly and I ordered a less expensive #aftermarket part from a vendor I'd used before.

My local VW dealer offered to install it (many dealers won't touch customer-supplied parts), but the part didn't fit.

The vendor, #rockauto, refuses to issue a return authorization online because an attempt was made to install the part.

How do you know if a part won't fit until you try to install it?

The automated recording at their corporate offices states that they do not provide customer service by telephone.

I should have gone with #OEM parts. It's a $200+ mistake I won't repeat.
