After months of applying for gainful employment, I was offered a job with a state agency. I received a call the next morning (on my way out the door) informing me that my job was temporary postponed. I called back a month later to follow up, and no one could give me any information about the assignment. It really was a devastating experience. I've had two internships with the State of North Carolina and I just assumed that I would have an easier time getting in. I've since moved out of state for other opportunities.
