For me it is a trip of a life time and one on my bucket list that I never thought I would get to do. It was amazing from start to finish and I could do it all over again. And now I am doing it all over again- with the inclusion of Uganda to see the Gorillas in July 2019.
And Tamariki Education Centre WOW- amazing teachers and the children, OMG the children- they have the most unbelievable hardships in their lives but these beautiful children still manage to give you the biggest smiles ever. I am so looking forward to seeing the children again in July 2019 and teaching them so more softball. First trip and 20kg of softball gear later. The children play every Friday when it is not raining a river on a patch of grass on the school grounds. I have more gear to take over this next trip.
Your Itinerary Denise and information updates were great. I referred to the info stuff all the time.
The experience will always be something I will cherish and OMG I did that balloon ride over the Masa Mara- NEVER thought I could get in a basket and hover over the Mara but I did it sweaty hands and all. It is right up there with one of the most amazing things to do in your life and certainly challenges your fears at the same time.
Denise is an awesome tour guide and her support people as in Tony and Johnson, along with a fabulous bunch of ladies makes for an amazing experience.
When anyone goes on a trip like this you always expect that unexpected and just roll with it- Diani for example power cut- haha but hey- As Dee says- this is Africa. Thank goodness for the POOL.
I can t say enough about the trip and soooo glad I did it and look forward to my up and coming trip with Dee.
