Arrived at LAX on time to discover no one was wait...

Arrived at LAX on time to discover no one was waiting for us. I fortunately had a US phone sim, which was particularly lucky because if I had not called I would not have discovered that we were meant to just wait outside for a white van. It is very unusual to have a transfer where a driver or a company representative does not wait for you at the arrivals area of the airport. Additionally, the customer service representative was very unhelpful, particularly when I inquired how I would be able to identify the white van or how the driver could identify us, and even more so when I asked if there was some way I could contact the driver or have the driver contact me.
Fortunately our driver made up for this experience.

- quite ridiculous that we were expected to somehow know to wait outside for a white van
- customer service was incredibly apathetic and unhelpful
