My husband has been a patient at Stanford for the last 11 years. I have found the staff and doctors to be the most knowledgeable, and caring professionals. The nurses are super stars. Most recently my husband has been hospitalized since 12/12/16 and he is still a patient as of 1/18/17. He was set to be sent to a Subacute Nursing Rehabilation Facility when an organ became available for transplant on 1/11/17. He has exceeded the surgical team's expectations. He was transfered from the ICU to a step-down unit. He is thriving an within days he will be transfered to a rehab facility due to his de-conditioned state. The nursing staff continually change his position in bed to avoid bedsores. The nurses are so caring. Without the world class treatment my husband has received I am sure I might of lost my husband. I will be forever indebted to Stanford's surgeons, CNA's, and the nurses. I highly recommend Stanford.
