Open days at Diamond Light Source offer an insight into the detailed research work it facilitates and showcases local businesses in support of super-enthusiastic presentations by the engagement team. Dr David Price said he pitched his presentation/the visit at people of ten or older, but succeeded in engaging our 7 & 9 year olds too (for the most part).
