Absolutely brilliant.

Absolutely brilliant.

I am fortunate to stay away at many hotels with business, and I am happy to say that this is one of the best hotels that I ve ever stayed at not just in Italy, but within Europe.

With every hotel there are things that could be done better, however, there is very little I can complain about with this hotel.

Due to the current Covid situation you have to book a swimming pool slot (1 hour - but most people stay a little longer and nothing was said), but you can do this prior to your stay if you email the hotel (the other hotel we stayed at in Venice but its pool closed, so it is good this one was open).

Getting to the hotel via the local boat service is relatively easy, and you can also use the Hilton boat service, but this is a bit more costly. (It is worthwhile doing some research on the local boats prior to your stay, as you can buy passes for multiple days at a lower cost - more days less cost).

I didn t use the spa, so I can t comment on this.

There are local restaurants and bars on the island, however, these are very limited. You get a much better selection on the main island, which you can get to in around about 10 minutes from the local boat service, and less with the Hilton boat.

There is a gold and diamond check in line. If you are not a healthy member, I believe this is free, and you get free Internet with membership.

I usually stay with IHG; I am a Spire Elite Ambassador with IHG. Hilton matched my IHG status, and gave me gold membership for 90 days. If you have a good level of membership with another hotel chain, it may be worthwhile to speak to Hilton about a status match. Google it, there is an online form. Hilton gave me gold status, which on arrival gave me a free upgrade (this is not guaranteed) and access to the executive lounge, which was a fantastic bit of luck (and made the wife and kids very happy). I would definitely stay with Hilton again due to this stay.
