Read the book to understand Id give it one star because of the fact so many people have died there. The staff are involved in illegal activities and hide all day. The old kitchen on the mens side has mold inside it I used to breathe it in when I stayed there . It's a good place overall if you are really homeless and have no where to go. You have to stick to your self you will make it far .They don't help at all with housing really cause they won't get there 38$ a day from the state for beds , that ppl sleep on . So if they help you leave how is that helping them stay in operation. It's a catch 22 a Ponzi scheme . They send ppl away all the time . They judge people there way too much in my opinion. They need to teach ppl there how the housing lists work and how control numbers work and if they have an eviction on their record how about getting it resovled to get a place . Actually advocate for these people not treat them less than you not all people are end up homeless by choice.
