I'll start off by saying the housekeepers and a FE...

I'll start off by saying the housekeepers and a FEW staff members were very kind and attentive. The oceanfront view is great.
But:
- There are fees they don't tell you about. A lot of them.
They charge you parking PER NIGHT for one additional vehicle.
When my father spoke to the lady at the front desk that night to receive the extra parking pass, she conveniently forgot to mention that detail. She was extremely rude as well. We didn't treat her in ANY manner that would warrant that kind of behavior. I didn't get her name, however, she had black hair, was white and heavy set. If your staff is having a bad day, please don't allow them to interact with the guests.

- Our room didn't have a balcony light that worked or a patio table. When we kindly asked for one (from the same rude front desk attendant) she ignored our request. We didn't bother asking again, considering it wasn't imperative, but rather a minor inconvenience. It wasn't because they were busy and forgot, that would be understandable. The place was quiet.

- If you decide to book through a third party, the third party charges you the resort fee($22 a night) BUT so does the hotel (another $22 plus tax).
Our hotel experience doesn't justify them charging another $150 on top of what they already charged when we booked.

- Hotel is going under construction. We were aware of this when we booked, but we didn't expect them to work during the holidays. Loud drills at 8am during holidays? I called front desk the night before to check considering it was the holidays, and one of the nicer attendants told me "no, the construction workers don't work the holidays."
Please keep your staff well-inform so this kind of miscommunication doesn't happen to anyone else. At least this attendant was nice.

- Cherill, another front desk attendant, was very kind and friendly during check out.

Needless to say, we won't be returning. Good luck.
